VAT Rates in Poland

Business

VAT (Value Added Tax) in Poland is the local equivalent of the familiar VAT system. It is a tax that must be paid by one of the parties in a transaction (either the buyer or the seller). Companies with an annual income not exceeding 34,000 euros are not required to register as VAT taxpayers. However, obtaining this status is highly advisable in today’s business environment. Without it, potential partners may be deterred, and business opportunities limited.
