2. Obtaining a License

The license is granted in the form of enrollment in the employment agency register (KRAZ). The head of the regional administration (marshal województwa) is responsible for the registration. You need to submit an application along with the required documents.

Documents Required for Registration:

  • Registration data.
  • Information about the office location.
  • Tax identification number.
  • Contact information for the applicant.
  • Documents verifying the identity of the applicant (passport, residence card, Pole’s Card).

The marshal has the authority to request any additional documents and discuss the deadlines for submission.

The marshal has seven days to review the documents and respond. If no response is received within two weeks, you are allowed to start your business without the license, according to the Polish Labor Market Law. If everything is in order, the agency will be registered, and the certificate will be issued.
