For example, if you plan to start living in the new place on November 1, make sure your contract for the old apartment ends on October 31. This will make it easier to manage your time. Also, pay attention to the termination deadlines for your internet provider and other service providers, as many of them may require additional time to process the cancellation request.

When you’ve decided to move in Poland, don’t forget to notify all your banks and organizations you deal with about the address change. This applies to both individuals and businesses.
In some cases, you may need to be present in person, especially if you moved to a large city like Warsaw, and the nearest bank branch is not in your area.

You can also turn to moving companies, but be cautious as many of them may not be very reliable. In the end, we found a private mover, which turned out to be the most cost-effective option.

The cost of transporting your belongings depends on various factors, such as distance and volume of the load. Typically, a move from one city to another within Poland can cost between 1,000 and 2,500 PLN. Shorter distances, such as from Kraków to Warsaw, may cost less.
